Start of Scenery
Rocks have been colored using the Dave Frary Method and I am starting the ground cover. I am using Woodland Scenics Clump Foliage attached with a hot glue gun. Darker colors and finer textures are used to the rear, making the scene look deeper that it is.

Hidden Staging
Portal to the left is for 2 staging tracks that represent tracks North and an interchange with CSX. Distant hills have been added.
Forced Perspective
The 2 buildings on the top of the hill are N scale. This will make them look further away. Tunnel portal modifications seen here give a better representation of the Gallitzin Tunnels.

Portal has been finished and weathered... ground covering continues.
Ground Cover Nearing Completion
Here is an overall view of the Portal Area showing the ground cover. Background paint is being re-done along with misting white on the sky towards the horizon.
