Start of Scenery

Start of Scenery

Rocks have been colored using the Dave Frary Method and I am starting the ground cover. I am using Woodland Scenics Clump Foliage attached with a hot glue gun. Darker colors and finer textures are used to the rear, making the scene look deeper that it is.

Here is a bigger picture showing more of the overall scene. The tower and signals in initial placements. The Signal Bridge and Position Light Signals are TrainCat kits with Oregon Rail Supply heads (modified for surface mount LEDs). See Blog...

Hidden Staging

Hidden Staging

Portal to the left is for 2 staging tracks that represent tracks North and an interchange with CSX. Distant hills have been added.

Forced Perspective

Forced Perspective

The 2 buildings on the top of the hill are N scale. This will make them look further away. Tunnel portal modifications seen here give a better representation of the Gallitzin Tunnels.
